Leak Detection & Repair — common questions
How do you find a leak without tearing up my walls?+
Acoustic listening equipment, thermal imaging, and pressure testing. We pinpoint the leak first, then open only the drywall or slab section we need to.
How much does leak detection cost?+
Diagnostic leak location is quoted before we start — a flat rate that covers the equipment and time to pinpoint the source. The repair is quoted separately once we know what we're fixing.
Should I turn off my water?+
If the leak is active and you can't isolate the fixture, yes — shut off the main and call us. It protects your home while we're on the way.
Can you locate slab leaks?+
Yes. Slab leaks are one of our most common calls in older Ventura homes. We locate under the slab and offer either localized repair or a reroute.
Will my insurance cover the leak repair?+
Most policies cover the damage from a sudden leak but not the pipe itself. Our written diagnostic report is what your adjuster will want.
How do I know if I have a hidden leak?+
Unexpectedly high water bill, warm spots on the floor, running meter with everything off, or musty smells. Any of those is worth a call.
